please note:
martinez is using traktor scratch and doesn't want to bother other artists / dj's that are performing before or after him: this requires some extra set-up time before playing or possibly even setting up before the doors open.
martinez needs provided:
- solid desk: 1m high, 2m x 1m surface area, free from feedback and not shaking. martinez prefers to play in the clubs dj booth rather than on a stage.
- 2 x technics sl 1200/1210's MK5 or higher (make sure they are well calibrated and that the pitch functioning as it should).
- 1 x allen & heath x:one 92 mixer (no pioneer mixers please, if a&h x:one 92 is unavailable please contact agency for other options).
- 2 x dj monitors (either side of the dj; at a height of 1,70m; must be volume controlled from the dj mixer, no plastic speakers/monitors, please do not place monitor speakers on the floor.
- 1 x sub woofer in the dj booth.
- a central lighting source.
- 2 x extra set of high quality turntable needles. preferably shure whitelabel.
- 4 x free power-bar slots.
- access to connections at the back of the mixer. please make sure the mixer in the dj booth is not embedded into the dj desk and available for connection of traktor scratch and effect unit. martinez uses all 4 channels of the allen & heath x:one 92 mixer and the aux sends, so please make sure there is no defected channels on the mixer.
- 40x40 cm clean and free area to the right of the turntables for Laptop.
- also leave about 15 cm of free space between the mixer and the right turntable.
martinez brings with him:
- 1 x mac power book laptop 15,4"
- 1 x allen & heath xone:1d midi controller
- traktor scratch amp / cables / control vinyls
martinez needs time:
- set-up time: 20 minutes
- sound check, minimum duration with sound technician before doors open: 30 minutes
- set down time: 20 minutes |
