please note:
nico purmann uses scratch live and doesn't want to bother other artists / dj's that are performing before or after him: this requires some extra set-up time before playing or possibly even setting up before the evening begins
nico purmann needs provided:
- solid desk: 1m high, 2m x 1m surface Area
- 1 x allen & heath x:one 92 or x:one 62 mixer, or pionner djm 800 (with access to the connections at the back)
- 2 x technics sl 1200/1210's
the turntables must be properly calibrated, pitch control should be free from grime and turntables should not drift. turntables should be placed forward, not hip hop style and should be set up on a secure, stable surface with proper isolation underneath to avoid skipping and feedback. please make sure the turntables are in good condition, stable pitch and stable arm.
- 2 x set of brand new ortofon needles.
- 2 x dj monitors (either side of the dj; on a stand at a height of 1,70m; must be volume controlled from the dj mixer)
- 3 x free sockets in a power strip
- set-up time: 20 minutes
- sound check, minimum duration with sound technician: 30 minutes
- set down time: 20 minutes
nico purmann brings with him:
- 1 x laptop
- scratch live amp / cables
- 1 x soundbite xl loop sampler
- delay effect pedal |
